For nearly a century, Milan FFA has cultivated agricultural leaders, industry professionals, and community champions across Washtenaw County and beyond.
Milan FFA — formally the Milan Future Farmers of America chapter — stands as one of Washtenaw County's most distinguished agricultural education programs. Since our founding, we have prepared students for careers spanning precision agriculture, agribusiness management, animal science, food systems, and environmental stewardship.
Our members don't just learn about agriculture — they lead in it. Through supervised agricultural experiences, competitive events, community service, and industry partnerships, every member builds real-world expertise that translates into lasting careers.
From classroom instruction to hands-on industry experience, our curriculum prepares members for every path in the agricultural sector.
Advanced coursework in plant science, animal husbandry, soil health, and sustainable farming practices — grounded in real-world application.
Learn the business side of agriculture — from supply chain logistics and financial planning to marketing agricultural products and services.
Parliamentary procedure, public speaking, committee work, and officer training — building confident leaders prepared for any industry.
Students manage real agricultural enterprises — from livestock projects to crop production and agribusiness ventures — earning recognized credentials.
State and national-level competitions in agronomy, veterinary science, food technology, agricultural engineering, and more.
Food drives, school garden projects, agricultural literacy programs, and partnerships with local farms and organizations throughout Milan.
Milan FFA gave me the foundation to pursue a career in agricultural engineering. The hands-on experience and mentorship I received here shaped everything about my professional path.
The leadership skills I developed as an FFA officer are directly responsible for my success in college. I learned how to communicate, manage projects, and inspire a team — skills no textbook can teach.
Being part of the Milan FFA community meant more than learning about agriculture — it meant belonging to a family that pushes you to be your best. I'm grateful for every moment.
Whether you're a student interested in joining, a community partner looking to collaborate, or a family seeking more information — we'd love to hear from you.
We'll get back to you within one business day.
